New automated CIP system

The effort involved in cleaning mixing plants repeatedly gives rise to the optimisation of existing cleaning systems.

The inevitable spray shadows caused by built-in mixing tools or tool undercuts always require time-consuming manual post-cleaning with the problem of contamination of the mixer environment.

Commercially available tank cleaning lance systems do not bring the desired success here. An individual cleaning system, adapted to the mixer design and consisting of strategically arranged self-locking nozzles, is better.

These achieve a very high degree of cleaning automatically and without contamination, with lower consumption of cleaning agents.

Controlled by hand or with the SPS, cleaning times of a few minutes can be achieved. The design known from the process container technology supports the drip-free cleaning agent drain, so that a “dripstone cavity” is excluded from the outset. All that remains is the visual inspection through the large inspection door and the drying of the mixing chamber by means of a warm air heater.

Ideally, the connection piece of the sampler should be used as the connection piece for the warm air heater. Thus the mixer is ready for use again in the shortest possible time and without contamination in the mixer periphery.
